RAT Brann

Focus RAT Brann (Fire) is an additional module to Focus RAT Basis for creating various fire plans with fire symbols, as well as enriching the BIM model with fire properties.

The fire symbols support, among other things, NS3925 for escape plans and NS ISO 7010 for safety colors and safety signs. The included library also contains a large selection of  fire symbols.

You can automatically create technical fire plans, escape plans and orientation plans. It is also a tool to easily create rotated plans per room

You add fire classes to building components in the Revit model and then add fire symbols. This is used to automatically create technical fire plans, orientation plans and escape plans. These plans are automatically placed on drawing sheets and supplemented with sign legends.

The tool uses standard Revit tools, making it is easy to customize the appearance of the drawings that are made.

Firesymbols

Focus Fire contains fire symbols according to NS-EN ISO 7010-2012.

This includes symbols for: Warnings, Fire, Prohibition, Order and Escape symbols.

Automation

Automatic drawing sheet and legend. Once the plans are constructed, you can lay them out on separate drawing sheets and automatically generate a legend on each sheet.

Rotated fire plans

Save a lot of time generating rotated fire plans according to given rooms with doors that slam in or out of the selected room. A plan is made for each door that is connected to the selected room. Then all these planes are rotated so that one and one door is shown upwards.

You need Focus RAT Brann to add fire classes and fire requirements to the building components of your BIM models. Fire classes are entered as type properties and fire requirements are entered on instance properties.

Rotated plans per room

With the Rotate plan function, you can create a plan for each room that is rotated and oriented in relation to the door (s) in the room. This saves a lot of time for when creating rotated plans.

Colorizing fire classes

Focus RAT Brann colors the model according to the building classes' fire classes and also escape routes. The colors can be changed in the display templates. It is also possible to add detail lines that provide good control over the dotting of lines.
